fud_log -- LKP file update daemon log program

Synopsis

fud_log "<message>"

Description

fud_log is a small helper program that is used by fud conversion scripts and other programs that run under the control of fud. It writes the <message> string that is specified to the system log as a fud warning. The <message> string must be enclosed in double quotes.

It can be used in administrative scripts to write custom messages to the fud log.

Examples

The following command logs the specified message:

   fud_log "Missing file /etc/fud.d/fud.conf"
